Job Description:

Conifer Health Solutions is seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Patient Access Department Director. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Patient Access department, with a focus on implementing process improvements and ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate processing of patients through the Patient Access flow.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to achieve Conifer and client goals, with a focus on meeting metrics and identifying areas of opportunity through collaborative work with internal and external peers.
  
• Develop and implement action plans to drive results and improve patient access services.
  
• Manage staffing activities, including documentation, identification of needs, selection of staff, and orientation and training.
  
• Work with Client Services to address client needs, concerns, and requests related to Patient Access, ensuring that client needs are met without negatively impacting operational flows.
  
• Effectively communicate and address issues that may be impeding performance, including technology or processes.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or business management.
    
  • Three to five years of management experience in a revenue cycle, business services, or acute healthcare environment.
    
  • Extensive knowledge of Patient Access and regulations.
    
  • Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) certification preferred.
    
    Work Environment:
    This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, with regular travel to hospitals and health facilities. Approximately 25% travel may be required.
